About the Project Coordinator Role:
The Project Coordinator (Events) will execute a range of projects, events, and partnerships related to Humber Downtown initiatives. This role will play an integral role in event planning and community partnership engagement, through project coordination, ensuring seamless execution of special projects and events. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, tracking project progress, managing logistics, and supporting communication efforts. This position will also be responsible for managing the event portfolio budget, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing and payment processes. Schedule and location flexibility will be required for events that take place outside of business hours or off site.

Education
A diploma or degree in Project Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience/Skills
At least 2-3 years of experience in event coordination, project management, or community engagement, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
Specifically:
Experience in event planning, project coordination, or industry engagement.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools, event registration platforms, and marketing software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
