Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project planning, and execution. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and a keen eye for detail to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while coordinating resources effectively. Conduct thorough construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor progress on-site, addressing any issues or delays promptly while maintaining quality control. Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity across teams. Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting milestones achieved and any potential risks.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction project management with a strong understanding of the construction process. Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Familiarity with Civil 3D software is preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities. Experience using construction management software such as ProCore or HeavyBid is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
