Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the estimating process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction management practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates and take offs. Utilize software tools such as B2W to prepare and analyze bids. Conduct thorough reviews of project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities. Assist in the negotiation process with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing. Maintain organized documentation of estimates, contracts, and project-related correspondence. Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines. Support cost control efforts by tracking expenses and providing regular updates to management. Approve incoming PO's.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field. Proficiency in B2W or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with contracts, pricing strategies, and cost control measures. Previous experience on construction sites is a plus, providing practical insights into project execution. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
