Project Coordinator
Primary Purpose: The Project Coordinator is expected to be a visionary leader who represents Pewaseskwan - the Indigenous Wellness Research Group to the public and its stakeholders. Reporting to the Principal Investigators, with day to day direction from the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator will lead the management and coordination of research activities related to the project(s) using Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Doing.
Nature of Work: As a valued member of Pewaseskwan at the University of Saskatchewan, the Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders and coordinate the entire study from planning, survey development, pilot testing, survey distribution, data collection and analysis to knowledge translation activities and manuscript writing.
The Coordinator will embrace the concepts of community engagement, consultation, partnership and self-determination. This position requires a high level of independence, interpersonal skills and knowledge of Indigenous philosophies and methodologies.
