Reporting to the Director Projects, the Projects Coordinator provides a full-range of confidential support services for corporate projects, which help build robust and sustainable systems that support and advance care at Yukon hospital facilities (and support other strategic initiatives including redevelopment and facility expansion). This includes leading the implementation and administration of project plans within appropriate individuals or working groups to ensure the coordination project activities are accomplished on time and on budget, while supporting the organization\'s objectives. This role ensures the success of corporate projects by coordinating the workflow for assigned projects; coordinating capital equipment and supply procurement related to the assigned project; working closely with the department/divisions to meet the project milestones; completing related planning, operational and administrative support activities.
Additionally, the Coordinator, Projects maintains project records in compliance with legislation, business practices and standards as applicable to project management of corporate projects. This position handles and coordinates confidential information related to approvals, budgets, organizational operational changes, procurement, processes and contracts.
