Job Description

A Fire Protection Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of fire protection projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Resource Management:

Managing project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and ensure timely completion.

Communication and Reporting:

Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and preparing project reports.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, conducting quality control inspections, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.

Safety Management:

Promoting a culture of safety on projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and participating in company safety training programs.

Documentation and Reporting:

Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including proposals, schedules, progress reports, and close-out documents.

Financial Management:

Monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and resolving any financial queries.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Project Management Experience:

Experience in planning, executing, and controlling projects, preferably in the fire protection industry.

Knowledge of Fire Protection Systems:

Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, industry standards, and relevant codes and regulations.

Organizational and Multitasking Skills:

Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities:

Ability to identify and resolve project issues and make sound decisions.

Proficiency in Project Management Software:

Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of mechanical piping installations and coordination is often an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,461.30-$104,323.26 per year
