The CCSMH\'s mandate is to promote the mental health of older adults by connecting people, ideas and resources. We are a multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary coalition with over 2,500 members representing clinicians, administrators, researchers, older adults and caregivers. We believe that mental illness is not a normal consequence of aging. All seniors have the right and deserve to receive services and care that promotes their mental health and responds to their needs.
We are hiring a project coordinator to support the final development phases and the wide dissemination of national clinical practice guidelines for treating anxiety disorders in older adults. Our objectives for these guidelines are to provide practical and evidence-based recommendations to guide clinicians across Canada in providing high quality mental health care to older adults.
In this role you will work closely with a research associate, a working group consisting of seniors\' mental health researchers and clinicians, knowledge brokers, and with project partners, persons with lived experience, and external experts. The position is remote and available to candidates located in and eligible to work in Canada.
