PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Fraser Direct is seeking a driven Project Analyst in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to support the CPG Department in managing and executing our clients\xe2\x80\x99 projects and contracts with great care, efficiency, and accuracy.

This role requires detailed involvement in project-by-project pricing and quoting, analysis of a project\xe2\x80\x99s requirements, efficiencies, and progress, and client-facing management of a project from start to finish. The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented person who enjoys collecting, organizing, and tracking data in order to help drive decisions. Industry experience is ideal, but this position would suit anyone with an analytical and data-driven mindset.

What is CPG? Our Consumer Packed Goods department specializes in marketing fulfillment projects, including secondary packaging, kitting, and labelling. This department is highly detailed and requires a nimble staff who can plan and react to changes as requested by the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and monitor multiple projects with multiple clients, including budgeting and forecasting
• Present timelines, proposals and project updates to clients
• Prepare quotes, bids, statements of work. Involved in cost/margin analysis
• Preparation and verification of billing reports and invoices to client
• Monitor and report on progress of project and liaise with clients to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Ensure clients receive timely and professional communications, valuable reporting and input
• Deliver analytical reports regularly
• Provide hands on assistance to the team when necessitated by workload
• Back-up other members of the CPG team, including being the primary back-up for the CPG Manager
• Serve as a communication link between external stakeholders (clients and their vendors) and internal stakeholders (warehouse operations, logistics department) to ensure responsiveness to needs
• Identify new business opportunities with existing clients

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 3+ years experience in a similar role. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in either one or a combination of: project management, retail, merchandising, inventory management, and/or warehousing/logistics
• Analytical experience in quoting, pricing, and bidding an asset
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Specifically, the ability to track and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Data and detail-mining strengths
• Comfortable with large quantities of emails, able to filter effectively
• Advanced Excel skills required for data management, analysis and reporting (Pivot Tables, Macros, V Lookup, VBA tables)
• Independent worker, though able to be confident with clients
• Sufficient leadership skills to provide back-up to the CPG Manager when necessary
• Exceptional time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Post Secondary education in Business, Marketing, and/or Project Management; or equivalent experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:

• Office Environment
• Consultation and interaction with Warehouse environment (production area for project fulfillment)
• Core hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between 8:30am to 5pm, must be flexible. Extended hours as required during peak times.
