PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR (Short-Term Contract)

The Project Administrator is responsible for various administrative duties surrounding a project or a portfolio of projects. The incumbent will work closely with the assigned Project Manager and Site Superintendent.

The following is a list of duties relating to this position. These may be adjusted by your supervisor when required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Timesheet creation and time tracking.
  • Track project resources such as equipment and subcontractor hours.
  • Prepare requisitions for materials, tools, and/or equipment associated with the project.
  • Coordinate site-specific coveralls program.
  • Perform file saving and archiving as per site document control guidelines.
  • Assist with payroll validation.
  • Arrange project meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on the progress of work and materials used.
  • Assist with the development of QA plans, QA checks, and handover packages.
  • Assist with subcontractor management program.
  • Assist with material receiving.
  • Prioritize and organize material at assigned laydown areas, if required.
  • Assist Project Managers/Supervisors/Superintendents as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum Education: Post secondary education in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or Engineering Technology is considered an asset. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in a mining, construction or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to always represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, advanced written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with distinct closure dates.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn.

Contract Start Date: As soon as possible Contract End Date: August 30, 2024 (with a potential extension) Work Location: Coleman Mine, Levack, ON
A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s permit and reliable transportation is required for this position. The work location is within the Greater Sudbury city limits. The role requires an average of 44 to 50 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday.
