The Project Administrator (Continuous Improvement Administrator) will be part of a growing team at the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) and will play an important role in the administration and coordination of projects, helping ensure efficient operations, timely communication, and steady progress on key initiatives. This highly organized role will support scheduling, project tracking, and the development of departmental communications, helping align efforts and foster collaboration on meaningful improvements across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to departmental projects and initiatives, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining outlook calendars, monitoring emails, and maintaining digital filing.
Assist in tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items for ongoing projects and strategic initiatives to ensure steady progress, accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
Draft, edit, and support the delivery of internal communications related to project updates and departmental initiatives, including meeting recaps, summaries and stakeholder updates.
Collaborate across departments and with subject matter experts to gather feedback, ensure alignment, and contribute to the successful execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Support the intake, tracking, and communication of Idea Portal submissions; documenting outcomes, share learnings, and help translate ideas into actionable improvement initiatives.
Track and report on key metrics related to project performance and initiative outcomes, sharing insights, results and lessons learned to inform continuous improvement.
Stay current on best practices in project management, change management, and engagement to enhance the effectiveness of team led projects and strategic initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the success of departmental projects and organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Post-secondary degree, diploma, and/or certificate in Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Experience:
+ 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, project coordination, or continuous improvement support role.
Required Skills and Abilities:
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, and contribute to evidence-based decision-making.
+ Effectively collaborates with various stakeholders within the organization, leveraging communication and cooperation to drive positive outcomes.
+ Ability to work independently as a strong and contributing member in a team environment.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and deadlines.
+ Excels at creative thinking and problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
+ Exhibits professionalism in representing Your ACSA.
Logistics
40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This role is eligible for a hybrid work model (ACSA Edmonton office).
This role reports to the Manager of Continuous Improvement.
Salary:
53,438 - 57,513
