Effectively pivot between Project Management and Finance departments
In charge of project financial life cycle form properly setting up projects to closing them out in the ERP system
Calculate project progress billing, assemble monthly owner billing package, and ensure invoice is sent to customers by deadline
Review project costs and ensure all costs booked for projects are accurate
Perform project cash flow forecast and ensure healthy cash flow for projects through AR and billing
Assist project managers to assess financial risks and promptly escalate issues to upper management, ensure all project related compliance is in place
Perform month end tasks such as calculating revenue recognition, WIP adjustment, and validate project forecasting
Perform monthly project variance analysis
Coordinate with Corporate AP for weekly cheque runs
Assist controller with monthly reporting and adhoc duties
About You
5+ years of project accounting experience in the construction industry
University Degree or College Diploma, Major in Accounting
Advanced Excel
Experience with construction software is an asset
Teamwork skills
