We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Programs Manager

to lead and oversee our organization's Community Support Service (CSS) programs, while providing strategic support to the Family Couple Individual (FCI) team. This leadership role is integral to the development, implementation, and evaluation of services that enhance the well-being of our community. The Programs Manager will supervise staff, collaborate with external partners, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the long-term sustainability and impact of our organization.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, overseeing administrative functions of the CSS and FCI departments. Contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans, including budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance. Review and update service agreements; identify and pursue opportunities for new partnerships and funding. Monitor program performance, outcomes, and impact; prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership Assess operational risks and develop mitigation strategies and action plans. Supervise and support staff and volunteers across CSS programs. Help support the FCI team regarding clinical direction and supervision when needed. Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, lead recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Executive Director and Clinical Manager; supervise staff and volunteers. Ensure staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge to support their case loads, especially as it related to individuals with disabilities using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches. Ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and accreditation standards. Represent the organization on local, regional, and provincial committees and working groups in interagency meetings and community forums. Manage client and community concerns; provide solutions and attend case conferences as needed. Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, community agencies, service providers, and government funders. Prepare and submit reports as required. Support grant writing, funding proposals, and contract negotiations. Maintain accurate documentation, data tracking, and reporting systems for all the CSS programs. Monitor annual budgets; manage expenditures and financial planning, particularly for trustee-services programs. Analyze financial data to guide decisions on program viability, expansion, or restructuring. Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of CSS and FCI programs, including intake, assessment, service planning, documentation, and case closure.

Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities. Collaborative leadership style with a focus on team development and capacity building. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, or a related field; In good standing with one of the accredited bodies (E.g. OCSWSSW or CRPO) Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in community or social services Strong knowledge of developmental services, mental health, and disability support frameworks Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex programs, and build strategic partnerships Experience in staff development, training, and mentorship Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to interpret and manage legal documents, contracts, and bylaws. High level of political acuity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Proficiency in public speaking, negotiation, and relationship management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Bilingualism is considered an asset.
