Position Summary

ShaJirEl International Society is seeking a

Program & International Coordination Manager

to provide

centralized coordination, oversight, and implementation support

for its Canada-governed, Nigeria-based programs.

This Canada-based role serves as the

link between organizational leadership in Canada and program activities in Nigeria

, ensuring programs are well-coordinated, accountable, and aligned with the organization's mission, values, and charitable obligations.

While day-to-day service delivery occurs in Nigeria, this position is responsible for

planning, coordination, monitoring, reporting, and partner engagement across both contexts

.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination (Canada & Nigeria)



Coordinate planning, timelines, and implementation of programs delivered in Nigeria Liaise regularly with local partners, facilitators, and community contacts in Nigeria Monitor program progress, deliverables, and outcomes across projects Maintain work plans, budgets, and documentation for international programs

Oversight, Accountability & Reporting



Review reports and financial summaries submitted by Nigeria-based partners Support leadership in ensuring appropriate oversight and accountability for international activities Prepare internal reports for organizational leadership, donors, and funders Maintain accurate records to support transparency and good governance

Governance, Administration & Fundraising Support (Canada-Based)



Support compliance with Canadian nonprofit and charitable governance requirements Assist with grant applications, donor communications, and reporting obligations Support operational planning, scheduling, and internal coordination Represent the organization in relevant Canadian community or stakeholder settings as needed
Qualifications

Required



Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development, Nonprofit Management, or a related field Minimum of three years' experience in program coordination, nonprofit operations, or community development Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to manage cross-border coordination and multiple priorities

Preferred



Experience working with international or cross-cultural programs Familiarity with nonprofit or faith-based organizational settings Experience coordinating partners or projects across different countries

Compensation & Benefits
