The TDI Automation team\'s mandate is to unlock business value through Intelligent Automation (IA). This type of work is about transforming how people work and interact with digital capabilities, rather than simply a technology implementation. Key considerations include process optimization and re-design and how robotics and artificial intelligence can improve the customer experience, while freeing up people\xe2\x80\x99s time to focus on more value-adding activities.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Automation, the Manager is responsible for leading Pan-TDI Automation Program level deliverables and strategic initiatives to unlock business value through Intelligent Automation capabilities. This individual will work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams including: Enterprise Automation Hubs, Business Transformation, Business Architecture, Enterprise Process Excellence, TDI Technology Services, Digital Channels, Customer Strategy and TD Insurance Operations. Together we will work to identify transformation and process improvement opportunities, deliver automated solutions, and champion proof of concepts which optimize customer and colleague experiences and improve operational efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Intelligent Automation (IA) capabilities
  • Develop and promote a culture of innovation and colleague development to create an environment dedicated to the future readying of colleagues\' digital and agile skills
  • Lead automation pipeline and opportunity assessments to identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Manage the delivery of the automation roadmap, including integrated implementation of automated solutions across multiple functional areas and stakeholders
  • Ensure strong day 2 RPA governance and controls, incident tracking, digital worker maintenance, support and change management
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy, and lead forecasting / planning, business cases, benefit realization / tracking, program level reporting
  • Keep abreast of emerging capabilities, trends, and vendors as well as industry and competitor insights that impact Insurance Claims & Operations and frame these findings into executive-level briefings and presentations as required
  • Coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoC) and Test & Learn initiatives for potentially viable new capabilities and/or vendor partnerships to prove out hypotheses and assumptions
  • Create a positive work environment and assume a prominent position on the leadership team by championing TDI\xe2\x80\x99s mission, vision and shared commitments
