Job Overview



We are a skilled, busy, and caring child & adolescent psychology clinic in Edmonton, providing individual and group treatment to children, adolescents, and parents. We are excited to announce that we are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator/Business Development staff member to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, marketing, registration, implementation, and evaluation of various programs within our organization. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Program Coordinator/Business Development staff member will work closely with our clinical team members and parents/families to ensure that programs run smoothly and effectively.

This position is a part-time position, starting end of June, 2025. The position will start at 15 hours/week over July and August (daytime hours), and move to approximately 27 hours/week starting in September including one evening shift and Saturday mornings as needed. Our administrative team works together to ensure smooth clinic coverage and flexibility is offered and also desired in our team mates. Hours may be adjusted as needed and for the right candidate.

Responsibilities



Help initiate and implement discussions regarding programming for our stakeholders. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program delivery. Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events related to program initiatives. Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant data, and outcomes for reporting purposes. Collaborate with our team of clinicians and administrative staff to align program goals with organizational objectives. Conduct research and analysis to inform program development and improvement efforts. Communicate effectively with staff and clients, providing updates on program progress and addressing any concerns.

Experience



Excellent interpersonal skills, must be warm, welcoming, approachable and helpful but also professional and ethical. Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on program management is preferred. Preference will be given to those who have been in an administrative role within a health or psychology organization. Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial tracking and reporting. Ability to understand our organizational priorities and goals, as well as our stakeholder needs, and initiate and help move our organization forward to achieve these goals and meet these needs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on collaboration across teams. Must have an excellent command of the English language. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with project management tools is a plus. Familiarity with Jane clinic management platform is an asset. Skilled in use of social media blogs, and website optimization for clients. Knowledge and previous experience with the Health Information Act, relevant Privacy Acts, and the Standards of Practice of the College of Alberta Psychologists is preferred.
