Main Purpose and Function
The Program Coordinator provides oversight of Britannia Child Care (onsite child care's) operations including budget and financial oversight, building and grounds maintenance, and the supervision of staff. They provide leadership, supervision and support to the child care centre's Senior Supervisors (BCGEU Affiliation) and supports the work of the Child Care Manager. They carry out their responsibilities within the purview of the collective agreement, Britannia human resource and child care policy and procedures, health and safety guidelines, government legislation, child care facilities licensing and any other relevant regulations or legislation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator (Child Care Department) reports directly to the Manager of Child Care Services.
