The Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing (Digital Marketing Analytics) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor commencing on July 1, 2023.
Located in the heart of Canada’s Capital city, the Telfer School is perfectly positioned for research collaborations with federal government agencies, non-profit organizations, and Ottawa’s large tech sector (e.g., Shopify). Building on Telfer’s four pillars (Wealthier, Greener, Healthier, and Happier), the Marketing faculty actively partner with local organizations, and we are developing a new one-year MSc concentration in Marketing and Behavioural Change to build on these partnerships.
In joining our Marketing faculty in Digital Marketing Analytics, you will fit into Telfer’s bright future by teaching Digital Marketing at undergraduate and graduate levels, supervising graduate students, and engaging with Ottawa’s public and private sectors.
Title of Position: Professor in Marketing (Digital Marketing Analytics) at the rank of Assistant or Associate. The rank is commensurate with experience.
Terms: Tenure-track position. Experienced scholars with a demonstrated track record may be considered for a professorship and/or a privately funded chair.
Duties:
a) Teaching activities: Duties of a faculty member will include in varying proportions: a) teaching activities; b) scholarly activities; academic service activities; and d) supervision of graduate students.
b) Research activities: Applications are invited from candidates with the ability to provide quality teaching while maintaining an active research agenda in Marketing.
c) Academic service activities as agreed with the Dean.
