We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through various massage techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs, and a solid understanding of medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Responsibilities
Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment options.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients about their experience during sessions and provide aftercare advice.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
Requirements
Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
