Position Summary:

The Production Welder position will work primarily on at the Production Facility. Welders need to be able to follow instructions and produce consistent, reliable, leak-tight quality welds. The Welder will set up components for welding according to specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform manual welding operations using FCAW / GMAW Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements). Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. Align components using callipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead). Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Position Qualifications:

Certified welder preferred 1+ years experience in welding Strong work ethic, dependable and a positive approach Able to stand and walk 8-10 hours per day Able to lift up to 50 lbs
