OIF Oven Handler/Production Welder


On-site | Full time | Senior (5+ years)

Your Tasks:


Familiarity with Manufacturing Procedures and Welding Manual. Safe operation of overhead cranes and lift trucks. Set-up and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Maintain a tight manufacturing schedule and strict quality controls. Be responsible for daily general maintenance of equipment and manufacturing areas. Other duties as assigned.


ualifications:


Candidate must have welding certification with CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) or (documented equivalent) in MIG and other welding disciplines. Aluminum welding experience is a must. Steel welding experience would be a definite asset. Knowledge in the accurate use of measuring instruments is required. Familiarity with all materials used within the department. Candidate must have the ability to verbally communicate, read and write fluently in English. Must have the ability to follow factory work orders, as well as understand and interpret product drawings and schematics for welding and assembly. Must be able to perform assembly and material handling tasks, including lifting to 50lbs. Must be a team player.
