Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Planning Specialist to join their amazing team!
What they offer?
- Salary up to $95K upon experience

Your profile?
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the chemical industry (batch process).
- A degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong French skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems for inventory tracking and production scheduling is required (such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and a strong understanding of manufacturing supply chain dynamics are key. Also, an advanced level in Excel is required.
- Experience with planning software and tools to optimize production scheduling is essential.
- A solid understanding of raw material management and batch processing in an industrial setting is a significant advantage.

Your role?
- Develop and refine demand forecasts using statistical tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance forecast accuracy and coordinate with suppliers.
- Create and manage production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Plan workforce shifts and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and raw materials, to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of manufacturing operations.
- Prepare and submit performance reports, adjusting schedules as needed to meet production goals.
- Work closely with sales, production, procurement, and quality control teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages and production delays.
