Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative (WIN) is a non-profit community service cooperative that provides programs to support women, trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people along their journey between crisis, self-sufficiency, and wellness. We run 5 resale shop locations as well as an online shop to be able to support us in funding our programs and operations.

Location: WIN Donation Centre Type of Position: Full-Time Wage Range: $23.00- $27.00/ hour (with paid breaks) Expected Schedule: 40 hours /week, anticipated Mon-Fri with weekends as needed, subject to change based on business needs
About the Role

This hands-on position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, including the Donation Centre, Clothing and Housewares departments, and Transportation Team. The Production Operations Manager ensures that production activities align with WIN's mission and operational goals while supporting a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

Provide leadership and operational direction to production staff and transportation staff to achieve daily, weekly, and long-term goals. Oversee donation centre and production operations and ensure efficient sorting, pricing, and preparation of items for WIN's retail locations. Monitor production targets, inventory flow, and quality standards to ensure consistent and timely delivery of goods to stores. Lead and support a diverse team of staff and volunteers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, including WorkSafeBC requirements and WIN's internal policies. Ensure all recycling, disposal, and waste-reduction systems meet environmental and operational standards. Build positive relationships with donors, suppliers, and community partners to support WIN's sustainability and community engagement efforts. Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure operational alignment and problem-solving. Ensure facility safety, cleanliness, and organization are maintained at all times. Support future expansion initiatives, including new revenue and sales opportunities as WIN grows its retail and production operations. Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:

Minimum high school diploma or GED. Management training is an asset. Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment (thrift or resale experience is an asset). Valid BC Class 5 driver's license is a requirement of the position. A driver's abstract may also be requested as part of the requirements. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams and work effectively with staff and volunteers. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and experience promoting workplace health and safety. Ability to lift and carry items of moderate or heavy weight. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to WIN's mission, vision, and values.
Working Conditions

The position is based primarily at the WIN Donation Centre and warehouse, with frequent movement between operational areas. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels and temperatures. Requires standing and moving throughout the day and lifting of up to 25 lbs. Travel between WIN sites may be required.
