Monarch Industrial Coatings operates a custom powder coating business established in 1989 located in Steinbach, Manitoba. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure that our business runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive process improvements. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of operational excellence while fostering a positive work environment.

DUTIES

:

Manage staff, implement company policies and procedures, monitor performance while adhering to high quality standards; Monitor daily operations and address any issues that arise to ensure seamless workflow; Ensure that all safety guidelines in the production process are being adhered to by the employees and the housekeeping of the plant is maintained to company standards; Control the inventory of materials essential for the powder coating process and the servicing of customers; Communicate with customers on a daily basis to prioritize and effectively schedule customer orders for processing; Coordinate the pickup and shipping of customer orders with the company transportation department; Review and submit employee timecards for payroll; Assist in the preparation of customer quote requests for new work.

QUALIFICATIONS

:

Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a relevant industry; 2+ years of manufacturing management experience; Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in powder coating is an asset; Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Good computer skills; Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities; Ability to work under pressure and willingness to adapt to constantly changing priorities; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
