Seeking Production Line Workers available to start immediately.

Production Workers perform material handling, maintenance and sanitation, packaging and other elemental duties relating to greenhouse produce packaging. Seasonal employees are hired for the peak growing season (April to November), although there are regular opportunities to convert to permanent, year-round employment. Hours may require overtime from May to September. Workers may be assigned a compressed work schedule that consists of 10 hour days, on a 4 on - 3 off (or similar) rotation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job responsibilities include: sorting, packing and packaging fresh produce; transporting raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout warehouse manually or with powered equipment; feeding flattened boxes into forming machines to construct packaging; monitoring and acting on product quality issues or packaging deficiencies; sanitation and routine cleaning of work areas and equipment; and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, be able to successfully complete fast-paced and continuous moderate physical duties (which include lifting, bending, twisting and standing during scheduled shifts), be able to work as a part of a team, and be quality focused to ensure products are of the highest quality.

Previous production or related agricultural experience is an asset - however, training is provided.
Fluency in English and reliable transportation to work are also considerations in hiring.
