Production Labourer
Job Description
Vermette Wood Preservers is seeking exceptional candidates to start working immediately as labourers in our production department. We are seeking individuals that are safety oriented, self-motivated and willing to learn new things with a positive attitude. Applicants must have a high level of reliability and punctuality. This position is physically demanding, and applicants must be able to lift and carry items of up to 75lbs on a continuous basis throughout the day. The applicant would be responsible to learn and apply new skills to produce and sort wood products such as fenceposts, lumber, crossarms, firewood, foundation piling, and utility poles. Other general labour and yard maintenance duties may be required at times. Wages start at $18/hr. Our hours of operation are 8 AM to 5PM Monday to Thursday and 8AM to 3PM Friday. The jobsite location is in Spruce Home, SK which is 20 km North of Prince Albert on Hwy 2N (15 min drive from PA). A vehicle is considered an asset; however, rides to and from work may be available depending on your location. Please send you resume by email.
