Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

Basic Employee Responsibilities



Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures. Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment. Being responsible - on time for work, and take breaks during designated times. Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities



This is a general production worker role with various production-line duties performed as directed by supervisor. Examples of these include:

Inspection of parts to be painted Operate paint booth, load and unload Move material to and from painting area Clean, drift, protect threads on all barrels prior to painting Operate cut off saw Wrap/stamp finished goods Follow instructions and safe working procedures Process work orders Regular machine and work area cleaning Regular preventive maintenance Other similar duties as requested by supervisor

Required Minimum Qualifications



Mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing. Ability to measure pieces using measuring equipment to verify that the size meets the specifications. Ability to work independently. When required, be part of a team, fellow operators and management to co-ordinate efforts to ensure that machines are used efficiently, and work priorities are well managed. Ability to learn new specifications and procedures through on-the-job training and experience.

Periodic heavy lifting up to 5Olbs. Standing for 8 hours Machine shop environment Inside work
