Job Summary:



As the Production Foreman, you will lead and oversee day-to-day operations on the shop floor, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of cabinetry products. You will coordinate team activities, monitor output, enforce company policies, and ensure production targets are met in alignment with Hinge Cabinets' mission of quality craftsmanship, innovation, and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:Production & Workflow Management



Oversee all production line activities and ensure daily targets are achieved. Coordinate production schedules and staffing assignments in collaboration with the Production Manager. Monitor equipment functionality and initiate repairs or maintenance as needed to minimize downtime. Ensure adherence to quality control processes and product standards.

Team Leadership



Supervise and mentor shop floor employees, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. Enforce company policies including attendance, break times, acceptable behavior, and safety protocols. Facilitate training of new staff and upskilling of existing team members.

Compliance & Safety



Enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) standards in accordance with the Saskatchewan Employment Act. Conduct daily safety checks and lead toolbox talks. Report incidents, near-misses, or policy violations promptly and accurately.

Communication & Reporting



Act as the liaison between the shop floor and upper management. Maintain accurate production records and generate daily shift reports. Participate in regular production and operations meetings.

Qualifications:



Education & Experience



Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in cabinetry or woodworking. Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.

Skills & Attributes



Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints, use measurement tools, and understand production plans. Comfortable using production software and basic digital reporting tools. Committed to continuous improvement and aligning with company values.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
