We're a scaling manufacturing startup taking over the niche industry of packaging testing equipment. We serve over 1,000 customers globally, and we're just getting started.
We're a small team (currently 3 in production) that is quickly growing. We're expanding into a new facility in the next 18 months and bringing on CNC machines, robotics, and new fabrication tech. If you want to learn, grow your skills, and be part of something that's actually moving forward, keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be building leak detection equipment from start to finish. About 70% of your day is acrylic fabrication--cutting, drilling, polishing, assembling. The other 30% is mechanical assembly, testing equipment, and shipping.
Most of the day, you'll work independently at your own station. Noise-cancelling headphones and your favorite music, podcast, or audiobook are encouraged. We set collaborative goals weekly, communicate clearly, and trust you to own your work.
On-the-job training is provided.
We don't expect you to know how to do this already. We expect you to be someone who can learn our process and help improve it.
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who's mechanically inclined but hasn't settled into a career yet. Maybe you work on a project car in your spare time. Maybe you've built a PC, messed with 3D printers, or built electro-mechanical devices. You're comfortable with tools and figuring things out.
What matters most:
Coachable
- You're open to feedback and learning new processes
Problem solver
- You don't panic when something doesn't go as planned
Detail-oriented
- Precision and quality matter in this work
Clear communicator
- If something goes wrong, you say something. We fix it together
Self-motivated
- You can lock in and work independently without someone hovering
The work itself:
Repetitive tasks that require precision
Operating equipment like sanders, polishers, drills, and routers
Lifting and moving heavy parts throughout the day
Maintaining a clean, organized and safe workspace
What We Offer
Compensation:
Level 1 Production team members start at $24/hour. As you develop and learn new aspects of the process, you'll take on more responsibilities and be compensated.
Flexibility:
We offer flexible start and finish times when needed. You're responsible for your output, not punching a clock at exactly 9 AM.
Growth:
As we scale and bring on new tech, there will be opportunities to move into higher roles, get involved in engineering decisions, and learn new fabrication processes. We're people first, always. If you want to grow, we'll support it.
Quarterly Off-Sites:
Last quarter we went go-karting. Before that, a VR arcade. It's unstructured, fun, and a chance to hang out outside the shop (during working hours).
The Team:
Small, young, hard-working. Everyone communicates well and takes ownership of their work. If you thrive in that environment, you'll fit right in.
