Major Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 To report directly to the Production Planning Supervisor on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the business unit within the company. As well as, to communicate effectively with the management team with respect to clarity of direction, approval for decisions and execution of all responsibilities. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the scheduling of all production. Including the timely release, distribution and closing of work orders. This is to be done with particular attention to quantities actually produced and actual component consumption. Identify and manage production priorities. \xc2\xb7 Develop a plan for all materials required to meet these production schedules and release the purchase requisitions for all sub-contracted processes. Follow up to ensure delivery of materials. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for master data, structuring parts, BOM\xe2\x80\x99s and routings in SAP per customer and business requirements \xc2\xb7 Generate and participate in cycle counting activities. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for accurate inventory. Investigate reported discrepancies and make the proper adjustments when required. \xc2\xb7 Manage the subcontracted processes with a keen focus on part accuracy both the leaving and coming back to the plant. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with Engineering for product information and changes and Customer Service to ensure delivery dates are met \xc2\xb7 Work with Production Manager to ensure that subassembly items are being made according to the schedule and plan Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements: \xc2\xb7 2 Year \xe2\x80\x93 College Diploma or Equivalent \xc2\xb7 2+ years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 SAP knowledge is an asset \xc2\xb7 Competent Understanding of MRP \xc2\xb7 Strong Organizational Skills \xc2\xb7 Mechanical Aptitude \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings \xc2\xb7 Computer skills in Excel REWARD!
