The Production Coordinator is responsible for importing shop issues and revisions, ensuring the database is accurate and that requirements are achievable on the shop floor.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Working with Strumis production software
- Processing of urgent work orders
- Support with programming processes
- Support with purchasing processes
- Technical Plant Support (jigs, drawings, programs, coordination, materials)
- Printing tags for identification of steel members
Desired Skills and Experience: Required:
- Completion of a Post-Secondary Program in Civil/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working within a Production Department, preferably for a Manufacturing Company.
- Knowledge of engineering and production software (i.e. AutoCAD, Tekla, SolidWorks)
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings
- Knowledge of the Production Life Cycle
- Organization skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
- A team player; one who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment
- Strong Communication Skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
