The Production Coordinator is responsible for importing shop issues and revisions, ensuring the database is accurate and that requirements are achievable on the shop floor.
Main responsibilities will include:
Working with Strumis production software
Processing of urgent work orders
Support with programming processes
Support with purchasing processes
Technical Plant Support (jigs, drawings, programs, coordination, materials)
Printing tags for identification of steel members
Desired Skills and Experience:
Required:
Completion of a Post-Secondary Program in Civil/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working within a Production Department, preferably for a Manufacturing Company.
Skills, Knowledge and Competency Requirements:
Knowledge of engineering and production software (i.e. AutoCAD, Tekla, SolidWorks)
Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings
Knowledge of the Production Life Cycle
Organization skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
A team player; one who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment
Strong Communication Skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
