SALARY: $53,352 to $66,690 per annum (commensurate with experience)

STATUS: TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (18 MONTHS)

The Production Coordinator will contribute to all aspects of UHN's Print Department. The position will be an 18-month contract position providing clerical, administrative and customer services to UHN printing requirements. This role will also be required to complete digital graphic forms, graphic design and graphic file revisions and manage internal form processes and inventory for UHN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative

  • Assist end users with print process and methods of providing artwork/files.
  • Provide customer service to all internal UHN users as required on internal UHN print order system.
  • Assign jobs to print production.
  • Use of excel to prepare month end report.
Controls and provides an effective digital graphics management program
  • Work in conjunction with Clinical Operations Committee for doctors' orders forms only.
  • Work with Health Records Committee for all other UHN patient chart forms and Forms Committee for overall processes.
  • Use and management of form and barcode design software.
Administers the control of all UHN forms design
  • Ensure graphic accuracy and controls design of all forms to meet UHN hospital guidelines and specifications.
Graphic Management
  • Provide assistance with the modification and maintenance of electronic and paper information.
  • Participate in the adjustment of established methods, systems and/or formats for storing, sorting and retrieving information, files and/or documents, to facilitate ease of information retrieval by users; participate in the updating of information files and/or documents on an ongoing basis to ensure current and accurate information.
  • Perform reception activities: answer and screen telephone calls and emails; take, prioritize and relay messages; forward communication to appropriate individual/are; respond to routine internal and external inquiries. Schedule and reschedule work orders.
  • Work in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contravention's of the Act, in a timely manner.
  • Perform cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • At minimum, completion of a 2-year community college program in Business or Graphic Arts or recognized equivalent required.
  • At minimum 2 years of practical or related experience;
  • At Minimum 1 year expertise with graphic design file set up;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office, excel, adobe creative suite and graphic barcode usage.
  • Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
