We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our Edmonton Team.

Location:
This position is based in Edmonton, Alberta. This is in an in-office position, with an opportunity for hybrid remote work upon completion of 90-day probation.
Hours:
Full-Time Monday-Friday, 40-hours per week.

Position Overview:
As the Production Coordinator, you will play a valuable and crucial role in contributing to the completion of our projects from the initial touch point to final warranty work. You will directly contribute to the financial and corporate function and well-being across all divisions of Great Western Interiors. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow and utilize their experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead in the coordination of projects from insulation through to texture completion while maintaining GWI scheduling timeframes.
Be the main point of contact for all Edmonton-based Sub-Contractors for upcoming work, purchase order information and pay-cycle questions.
Create, own and manage active Sub-Contractor directory and availability schedule/calendar.
Populate, manage and distribute job progress and material usage reports.
Work directly as a team with the Edmonton operations team including Construction Coordinator, Site Supervisors and VP of Operations to complete jobs to GWI service standards.
Create, edit and verify vendor and supplier purchase orders.
Complete sub-contractor onboarding documentation and set them up in GWI systems.
Create new Job Files, vendor and builder set ups in GWI internal systems.
Accessing and navigating builder portals for construction documents, purchase orders and schedules.
Supporting vendor accounts payable. Including posting Purchase Orders, Credits, Bills and Bill Payment Stubs.
Entering Supplier material invoices and credits to balance for month end payments.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and hardcopy financial records and filing.
Support in tech stack implementation including launching a new resource planning software.
Provide general administrative support for the Edmonton division.
Provide back up and holiday coverage to other Great Western Interiors Coordinators.
Support in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures for the Business Services Team.
Adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in construction scheduling/coordinating, bookkeeping, Accounts Payable/Receivable or Admin is considered an asset.
Knowledge of basic coordinating and administration principles and practices. Familiarity with admin services and terminology.
Proficiency in using accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks Online is considered an asset.
Tech Skills - General understanding of Tech Stack Implementation, Hardware and Software considered an asset.
Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
Attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results.
Strong communication skills, adaptable to utilize multiple communication platforms (phone, text, email, in-person and scheduling software) to effectively solve problems.
Teamwork skills. The ability to take direction and work effectively alongside a team to achieve solutions.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Training/Travel Note -
The selected Candidate must be able to travel to Calgary for training. Schedule to be determined estimated at 3-6 business days split over the course of a few weeks.
