This is a maternity leave replacement (18 months contract). As Print Production coordinator working in the marketing department reporting into the Marketing director, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and help other members of the team with the production schedules of the marketing in-store campaigns.
  • Assist the Marketing director to source and negociate with print vendors to obtain competitive pricing and quality services on a daily basis.
  • With other members of the team, weekly, you will need to go verifiy the printed signage that has arrived at the marketing warehouse to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Assist the graphic designers to review pre press, PDF approvals before production.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize print production processes and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Work closely with the project leads on all the projects being sent to production such as hoardings, PR. assets, special projects, window campaigns etc.
  • Maintain inventory levels required for printing projects in partnership with the visual team.
  • Assist the packaging project manager when needed with her tasks of communication with oversea or domestic suppliers.(Maintain a database of all packaging samples and update the catalog).
  • Do store visits to research new materials- marketing ideas + Packagings trends and taglines, look at competitor research online and offline and build reports.
  • Organize and save all project files in proper project folders.
  • Excellent work ethic and a team player that enjoys the collaborative process in between departments.
WHAT YOU\'LL NEED:
  • Certificate or graduate diploma in marketing
  • 2-3 years\' experience in a retail marketing environment a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of printing techniques, materials, and industry trends.
  • Knowledge in Adobe suite an asset (Graphic design knowledge).
  • Experience using Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task while being meticulous, thorough and detailed.
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish, meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently.
  • Bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced demanding environment.
  • Willing to work in office 4 days per week, and 1 day at home
