5+ Years Experience Production. 5+ years of leading baking experience, including working with natural fermentation and sourdoughs from scratch.

Job Summary:
Assist the Head Baker to run a full day's production from start (mixing) to finish (baking) to fulfill the daily production requirements.
Follow quality assurance, food safe, work safe procedures and inventory rotation practices.

Compensation (Starting range):
$ 22.00 to $24.00/hr (depending on experience)
Holidays:
4% of each pay towards vacation pay
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare doughs, and other ingredients and then produce items such as bread, bun, cookies, and other baked goods.
Production start-up, including bakery equipment pre-operational check.
Organize workflow in the bakery to maximize efficiency.
Troubleshoot quality issues on an ongoing basis.
Maintain cleanness and hygienic conditions of equipment, utensils, and surroundings.
Contribute to waste reduction and continuous improvement.
Monitor production process from mixing, resting of dough, through rounding and other parameters that form consistent bread quality, standard look, and flavour.
Ensure accuracy of standard recipes and technically correct process during production runs.
