Job Description

Avion Technologies Inc. is seeking a Production and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. Avion is a provider of contract manufacturing services of precision parts. We are a leading supplier of high-quality gears, components, and sub-assemblies to the aerospace community in southern Ontario. Plan and schedule all production activities by jobs and work centers. Communicate job expectations, schedules, productions expectation including due dates to ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time. Ensure materials and manufacturing documentation are ready at the production cells before they are needed. Keep machine and production cell schedules and capacity plans up to date and provide regular reports to internal and external customers. Co-ordinate and report on manufacturing operations, bottlenecks, performance measures, etc. communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly targets for production and work with the team members to achieve these targets across two shifts. Co-ordinate activities between QA, Engineering, and Purchasing departments to ensure weekly targets and on-time delivery requirements are met. Attend daily Lead meetings. Collaborating with all departments (customer service, sales, purchasing, production, and shipping) to meet promised delivery dates. Maintain KPIs such as on-time deliveries and late-to-start operations. Generates weekly and monthly reports in relation to schedules, shipments, overtime, volume vs forecast, unplanned absences, etc. This person will coordinator & Schedule ALL activities Master Scheduling, in Shipping, Deburring / Cutting, Drivers schedule, Machine schedule and Jobs overall and related tasks to ensure a smooth flow work related to scheduling. Preventative maintenance for all machines and update reports for each station. Follow up with purchasing for all shop supplies. Work with hearing and speech impaired individual. Qualifications and Requirements: Machine shop and manufacturing experience is an asset. College diploma in a technical field is preferred. Working experience with Microsoft 365 and advance with Excel. Must be fluent in English. Must work well with multiple tasks/projects under pressure. Aerospace experience/knowledge strongly preferred. An understanding of manufacturing processes is an asset. Experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Excellent interpersonal, soft skills and communication skills. Familiar with AS 9100 requirements and documentation will be an asset. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits:
