Production Accountant

Job Description

As a key member of Mancal Energy's collaborative Production Accounting team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timeline reporting across operated and non- operated properties, including the associated production, revenue, royalties, and facility charges. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Perform monthly production and revenue accounting functions for operated and non-operated Set up and maintain master data and configurations in PAS, including royalties and facility Ensure that all internal and external deadlines related to the production accounting are Reconcile accounts receivable related to production and revenue Interpret schematic flow diagrams and contractual agreements to ensure accurate setup and Analyze production, revenue, and royalties, and reconcile these items to the general Perform monthly APMC reconciliations and APMC invoice Code property-related invoices (e.g., trucking) and incoming revenue joint interest Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Land, Marketing, field personnel, and regulatory bodies as needed Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as


QUALIFICATIONS:




Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal A minimum of 10 years of related CAPPA Experience with PAS, Qbyte FM, Petrinex, Petrontranz, Prodview and Knowledge of Directive 017 and EPAP Strong understanding of gas and liquids gas plant Demonstrated ability to take ownership of new tasks and adapt to changing Commitment to continuous improvement, with an interest in automation or process Financial accounting experience related to oil and gas operations is considered an asset
