How You'll Make an Impact
The Product Research team is Fidelity's centralized source for high quality mutual fund analysis and expertise. The team of investment analysts and associates cover all of Fidelity Canada's retail funds. The team is the key liaison with Fidelity's investment staff around the globe and thus acts as the "voice of the portfolio manager" here in Canada. Research performed on the strategies is packaged into a multitude of materials for Fidelity distribution channels.

As the Product Support Specialist, you will work closely with the Investment Analysts and will be responsible for:Building, updating, and maintaining presentations for Portfolio Managers. Performing data quality reviews and maintaining fund updates, which include MRFPs (management reports of fund performance), quarterly fund reviews (QFRs) and updates to the retail sales team. Identifying and implementing solutions which improve efficiency and effectiveness through the elimination, simplification, and automation of processes. Partnering with Investment Analysts to support the production of fund update pieces for our sales teams, ensuring we are providing best in-class materials for sales and clients. Supporting Product Directors on ad-hoc queries for product information and data analysis. Acting as the primary product content manager, coordinating and submitting all relevant material in a timely fashion for marketing and compliance review and approval process. Overseeing regulatory reviews through data analytics for the Product Research Team, including Fund risk and category analysis and Fund Fact data reviews. Acting as a liaison with 3rd party data vendors

What We Are Looking ForUniversity degree or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of financial services experience, preferably with investment product experience. Understanding and demonstrating curiosity for investing. Proven ability to be analyze, condense and communicate around large sets of data. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team, in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in MS Suite, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Bilingualism (French/English), both verbal and written, is an asset. Strong knowledge of VBA and Python is an asset.
