Position Summary

As a Product Operations Manager, you are the connective tissue between Product, Design, Engineering and our Revenue Operations teams. You will help drive value by understanding the voice of the customer and the needs of the marketplace, using data to help drive decisions around exciting offerings for the marketplace. Acting as chief of staff to Product Management leadership and their teams, you will be a key strategic advisor and implementer of initiatives. You will help our team solve complex problems around pricing models, customer utilization, product/market fit, communications of the road map, SKU management, aligning sales/product strategy and more.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting & Data

  • Drive meetings to track scorecard progress towards goals, KPIs and metrics to support senior leadership
  • Ad hoc reporting and analytics directly supporting our product managers including but not limited to, pricing and Average Sales Price (ASP), bundling and attach rates, uncovering buying patterns and building predictive models based on past customer history
  • Maintain and manage product taxonomy master data
  • Provide key strategic advice and supporting data/analysis around new products, deprecation, changing bundling, pricing and GTM strategy etc.
  • Maintain and ensure proper hierarchy and master data that will be used by systems across the org
  • Take the lead on understanding customer utilization, a key leading indicator of the success of our SaaS platform
  • Facilitate the trafficking of customer support/QA issues through Engineering
Pricing & Offer Management
  • Standardize processes around pricing, SKU management and release management, working closely with Product, Portfolio and Engineering
  • Manage Price List and Product Catalog updates to support the product development process and Go to Market activities
  • Work with product teams to review their requirements, conduct analysis on pricing and markets in order to define the requirements required to be implemented into the Product Catalog
Go-To-Market Strategy and Process
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Revenue Operations, Design and others to ensure that development and go-to-market messaging is aligned to the goals and strategies of Product Management
  • Provide support to global portfolio management office in collaboration with centralized Agile Team to ensure timely delivery of prioritized product Outcomes
  • Facilitate creative and functional reviews, intake feedback and execute follow-ups with various partners
  • Develop, iterate, and maintain business processes, best practices, and training documentation
  • Liaison among stakeholders to analyze, prioritize, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems
Skills/Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, pricing, Product Launch or related field
  • Highly analytical, able to summarize large amounts of data from different sources into a cohesive message
  • Strong communication skills, experienced in tailoring messaging and communications for different audiences and comfortable delivering compelling presentations.
  • Experience working as a partner to senior leadership in Sales, Marketing & Product functions
  • Experienced in CRM (Salesforce), Atlassian and product management tools
  • Must be able to rally teams cross-functionally, driving collaboration and cohesion across the organization to accomplish a single goal
  • Process improvement expert; identifying gaps, implementing improvements and measuring the success and return on investment.
  • Knowledge of Product Management methodology and policies/controls
  • In depth knowledge of pricing analysis and financial analysis/modeling
  • Maintain working knowledge of current and proposed best practices, regulatory rules and related emerging issues and compelling events
  • Work with Development teams to prioritize work, manage backlog, release planning and deployment plans
