With a career as a Product Manager at National Bank you will be responsible for a range of products and constantly changing them based on the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategic orientations and priorities, the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and the market watch. You will therefore be responsible for positioning products, defining priorities and the roadmap for product evolution and working with all internal and external stakeholders to implement the product. Being Product Manager also means tracking and ensuring the performance of solutions under your responsibility, making recommendations, making corrections and doing account reporting.
Join the Personal Banking Payment Solutions sector whose mission is to maintain and upgrade payment solutions and define the Personal Banking payment strategy.
Your role:
  • Define the vision, priorities and evolution roadmap for products under your responsibility to support the Personal Banking payment strategy and the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategic orientations
  • Identify business needs, carry out initial positioning and guide the design and development of new products
  • Take part in business cases for initiatives and projects for financing approval
  • Continually improve existing products
  • Follow and interpret payment indicators and the performance of products under your responsibility, make recommendations and make appropriate corrections
  • Keep abreast of changes in consumer needs and market trends
  • Do a market watch, assess the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s competitive position, make growth rate projections for products under your responsibility and recommend strategies for optimal positioning in the industry
  • Establish pricing strategies for products under your responsibility based on profitability and growth objectives and the market
  • Work closely with sectors concerned and stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, IT, Compliance)
  • Represent the sector at various committees, internal and external stakeholders, and help negotiate agreements with various business partners

Competencies required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field and seven to ten (7-10) years\' relevant experience OR Master\'s degree in a related field and six to eight (6-8) years\' relevant experience
  • Experience in product management
  • Excellent knowledge of payment solutions (debit, domestic and international internal and external transfers, mobile payment, etc.)
  • Ability to understand the operational and technological side of payment solutions
  • Ability to identify, position and develop various business opportunities
Preferred competencies:
  • Innovation, creativity, leadership, and analytical mindset
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French) for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec
