Job Description

Location: Montreal, QC (on-site)Term: PermanentHigh Tech Genesis is seeking a Product Development Project Manager to collaborate with the engineering department in overseeing and managing product development projects.In this role, you will:Manage the development of new products and improvement of existing products by ensuring that the product development process is followed.Resolve daily issues by leveraging the project team or escalating if necessary.Act as the right hand of the Head of the Engineering department.Assist in managing resources, budget, inter-department coordination, planning and all other activities needed in managing an engineering department.Coordinate and track activities to remove roadblocks to ensure that projects are delivered according to the scope, timeline and budget.Minimum 7 years work experience and 3 in a similar role.Experience implementing or following a project management processKnowledge of both Agile and Waterfall conceptsMust be extremely organized to be able to manage multiples projects simultaneously and clearly explain progress and blocking issuesExperience in development of consumer productsExperience using Jira as a project management and product development toolMust be able to understand electrical, mechanical, firmware and software designs.Bachelors degree in EngineeringBonus skill:Bilingual English and French written and spokenHigh Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
