Position Overview



We are seeking a talented and motivated

Product Developer

to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative food products from concept to commercialization, ensuring they meet consumer expectations, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities



Collaborate with internal & customer teams to identify trends and generate ideas for new products or line extensions. Translate consumer needs into creative product concepts. Develop and test formulations to achieve desired taste, texture, appearance, and shelf life. Conduct sensory evaluations and modify recipes to improve performance. Maintain detailed records of trials and formulations.

Scale-Up & Commercialization:



Work with manufacturing teams to scale up recipes for production. Troubleshoot issues during pilot and full-scale production runs. Support continuous improvement activities at the factory and laboratory levels.

Regulatory Compliance:



Ensure all products meet regulatory and food safety standards. Collaborate with QA teams to develop proper labeling and allergen information.

Project Management:



Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget. Provide regular updates and presentations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Chemistry, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in food product development or a similar role in the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of ingredient functionality, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CFIA, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with food processing equipment and techniques. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
