Senior Technical Designer and Product Developer

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Designer and Product Developer. In this dual role, you will be a key player in shaping our knitwear collections, ensuring a seamless transition from creative concept to final production. Responsibilities



Initiate and manage the development process of programs by priority to meet established timelines. Collaborate with internal teams and factories throughout the product development process, ensuring client requirements and deadlines are met, and that all questions and issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Manage the development process to ensure key milestones and Time and Action (T&A) calendar objectives are achieved. Review and approve factory submissions (e.g., lab dips, strike-offs, PP samples, etc.) in conjunction with Design, Sales, and Production as needed. Track the status of development projects, including prototypes, samples, and production. Ensure all necessary product development documentation is created, maintained, and communicated throughout commercialization, including BOMs, technical data packages, prototype/fit notes, and product changes. Create and maintain production tech packs, ensuring that sketches, bills of materials, and fit spec information are accurate and up to date. Identify potential production, quality, and costing issues, and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity. Train and mentor associate team members as needed. Travel to factories to work with technical teams, resolve issues, and expedite approvals as necessary.

Requirements



Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify fit issues and provide effective solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Self-starter with a proactive mindset. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proven ability to meet or exceed goals. Actively seeks mentorship and peer collaboration while driving self-directed learning.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
