In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their flooring choices, providing expert advice on products, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and preferences. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various flooring options. Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and upsell additional products or services. Provide insights on renovation and construction projects related to flooring. Maintain an organized display of merchandise to enhance the shopping experience. Manage accounts by following up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote new products and sales events. Assist with cash handling and cashiering duties as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales, particularly in high-end markets. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions and account management. Basic math skills for accurate pricing and calculations during sales processes. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple customer inquiries and follow-ups efficiently. Familiarity with merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays. Knowledge of flooring materials, renovation processes, and construction principles is highly desirable. Ability to perform product demos confidently, showcasing features that meet customer needs.
