Dawson Co-op invites applications for the position of

Produce Clerk (part-time)

to join our team at our Food Store located in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.

Reporting to the Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk is responsible for providing outstanding service to all customers, ensuring high quality products are displayed throughout the department and maintaining the storefront and preparation areas.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Come to work with a positive and professional approach and attitude Be dependable for all scheduled shifts Ensure outstanding and courteous customer service is provided in the department at all times Meet or exceed all operational objectives and administrative requirements, as directed Provide service, information and assistance to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet their requirements and expectations Ensure that the department produces high quality products Prepare, assemble, display and merchandise all products in the department Prepare and wrap product as assigned and according to standards Maintain adequate inventory levels and stock control procedures Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures, clean equipment regularly and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the Dawson Co-operative Union and Government legislation, as it applies to Produce Adhere to start and end of shift procedures Adhere to all Dawson Co-operative Union policies and procedures Adhere to all Dawson Co-operative Union health and safety standards, per the Health and Safety manual Other duties as assigned
