About the Role
The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in managing and improving procurement processes and ensuring the smooth coordination of materials, trades, and vendors. This role will involve interfacing with clients and contractors to ensure projects progress seamlessly while staying true to the high design standards we uphold.
This person must be organized, detail-oriented, reliable and self driven. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our projects and help bring beautifully curated spaces to life.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine procurement processes and templates to optimize efficiency.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of FF&F specification data.
Manage trades and vendors, building strong, collaborative relationships.
Prepare and manage requests for quotations from suppliers.
Organize and maintain clear documentation, ensuring accessibility for the design team.
Provide clients with regular updates through clear, professional communication.
Assist the design team wherever needed including preparation for presentations.
Oversee order processing and coordinate deliveries with contractors and clients.
Track project deficiencies and work with contractors and vendors to resolve them.
Perform additional tasks as required by the team.
Qualifications
A degree in business administration, commerce, economics or a related field relevant to the position
3-5 years of post-graduation work experience.
Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, trades, and the internal team.
A proactive mindset with the ability to multitask.
An interest for interior design and an appreciation of how thoughtful procurement contributes to the success of a project.
