DescriptionAppleOne is recruiting a Procurement Specialist in Etobicoke!
- $42-48k per year
- Benefits after 3 months
- 2 weeks of vacation

- 100% in office
- Work hours - 8 AM to 4:30 PM
- Relevant experience in procurement and a background in supply chain
- Recent graduates with co-op experience might be considered.
- Food industry experience (in a procurement/supply chain capacity)
- Excellent communication skills
- Overseeing the process related to supply chain management activities, including a
- Selecting, negotiating, and implementing supply orders in accordance with the right policy and procedures as stated by the company\'s standard suite of condition
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety documents from suppliers are up to date
- Ensuring that materials are available at all times, especially when required, and that
- Coordinate and work directly with the production department to ensure ordering of
- Ensuring that all purchasing documents are properly coded, authorized and entered for ordering
- Process all purchase orders, ensuring correct quantities and pricing, prior to submission to accounting department
- Evaluate and compare products and services to determine which best meets the
- Manage inventory flow through production operations
- Reconcile inaccurate inventory counts
- Preparing weekly/monthly reports, including cost analysis and purchases
