DEPARTMENT: Procurement SALARY: Starting at $85,000.00/yr LOCATION / REGION: Kitimat, BC SCHEDULE: 14 on/7 off, 10 hours/day, Western Canada - Flights and Camp Provided
20 on/8 off, 10 hours/day, Eastern Canada - Flights and Camp Provided REPORTS TO: Procurement Lead Altrad Values: Courage | Respect | Humility | Solidarity | Conviviality KEY OBJECTIVES:

• Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work and carrying out the duties of this role in line with Company Values to achieve long-term success.
• To ensure materials procured are supplied in a cost efficient and timely manner.
• To maintain Supply Chain documents and records updated and searchable in the project database.
• To maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure services align with Altrad expectations.
• MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Purchasing, expediting, negotiating best pricing with suppliers, etc.
• Co-ordination of Transport and Logistics of material to required delivery points.
• Assisting Accounts payable with invoice queries on price and proof of deliveries.
• Responsible for maintaining Supply Chain files on the master documents data base, prepare and maintain reports and records.
• Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skill or experience.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of procurement experience.
• Relevant experience across the Industrial Services, Oil and Gas, Construction and Maintenance project environment.
• Completion of secondary schooling: Diploma in Purchasing / supply chain management.
• Strategic negotiation skills and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex and competitive tenders.
• Supervisory management experience (2-3 years preferable).
