Position: Procurement Specialist Engineer (Optimization Projects in Distribution)
Location: Saint-Laurent
Do you have experience in project management and procurement? Do you have 7 years of experience in supply chain? Are you looking for a hybrid role in Saint-Laurent? Do you have experience in development and process improvement?
Our client, a company specialized in the distribution of construction materials, is looking for a Procurement Specialist (Optimization Projects) to join their dynamic team!

Your profile?
- At least 7 years of experience in project management and procurement
- Bachelors in Industrial Engineering
- Experienced with MRP, project management, updates and improvements
- Ability to travel across Canada and the US without restrictions (once or twice a year)
- Excellent internal and external communication
- Excellent French skills
Other Language Requirement: English
- Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
- Reasons for Language Requirement: Collaborate with teams across Canada and the US
- Frequency of Use: Daily (for various tasks)
Your role?
- Coordinating projects throughout their entire lifecycle
- Actively participating in supply chain projects (ERP development, tool integration, training, documentation)
- Leading continuous improvement projects with a practical, problem-solving approach
- Identifying opportunities and proposing corrective actions to meet supply chain objectives
- Assisting in evaluating, developing, and testing new solutions to ensure they meet client needs
- Preparing meeting documentation and training materials for new and existing tools
- Developing performance indicators and control tools to monitor improvements
- Providing training and support on new processes while fostering positive leadership and maintaining strong relationships within the company
