Responsibilities



Operational Leadership



Oversee daily processing activities to meet production and quality targets. Assess manpower needs and coordinate the labor force across trimming, and post-harvest functions. Monitor product flow from harvest through final packaging and make adjustments as necessary to maintain throughput and quality. Ensure accurate ERP and physical inventory transactions are completed, with all documentation properly recorded. Track and maintain consumable items, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering. Ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and report maintenance or calibration needs promptly.

Quality, Sanitation & Compliance



Promote and maintain the highest levels of cleanliness across all processing areas. Verify all sanitation criteria and Health Canada regulatory requirements are consistently met. Ensure all product handling follows SOPs, GMP, and company quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to verify product integrity and compliance with safety protocols.

Team Leadership & Development



Supervise processing and packaging staff, fostering accountability, teamwork, and performance. Administer onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs for new and existing employees. Provide daily direction and feedback to ensure staff understand production goals, SOPs, and safety expectations. Maintain documentation and KPI tracking for performance, yield, and efficiency metrics.

Process Improvement & Reporting



Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and workflow improvement. Support SOP revisions, validation, and implementation of new operational procedures. Report on daily and weekly production metrics, variances, and corrective actions. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation or support as required.

General Responsibilities



Collaborate cross-functionally with cultivation, QA, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Ensure adherence to all workplace health and safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements



Organizational skills and attention to detail Strong computer skills; specifically, in Excel.Proficient with Microsoft Word. Post harvest processing experience would be ideal Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends. The successful candidate will be expected to receive a background check as part of their employment.
