Silgan Plastics est actuellement a la recherche d'un(e) Technicien(ne) de procede competent(e) et fiable pour se joindre a notre equipe a Lachine. Le ou la technicien(ne) de procede sera responsable de l'installation, de l'operation et de l'optimisation de l'equipement de transformation des plastiques afin d'assurer une production efficace et une qualite de produit elevee. Cela comprend la resolution de problemes mecaniques, l'entretien mineur de l'equipement, ainsi que la collaboration avec les equipes de qualite et de production pour atteindre les objectifs.
Responsabilites principales :Configurer et faire fonctionner les machines de moulage ou d'extrusion de plastique selon les specifications Surveiller les processus de production et effectuer les ajustements necessaires pour garantir une qualite constante Depanner et resoudre rapidement les problemes lies aux equipements et aux procedes Tenir a jour les dossiers sur les reglages des machines, la production et les controles qualite Appuyer les changements de format et les procedures de demarrage/arret Collaborer avec les equipes d'entretien et de qualite pour minimiser les temps d'arret et le gaspillage Assurer le respect des procedures de securite et des politiques de l'entreprise Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organise

Qualifications:Diplome d'etudes secondaires Certificat ou diplome en mecanique (un atout) 1 a 3 ans d'experience dans la fabrication de plastiques (moulage par injection, soufflage ou extrusion, un atout) Bonne aptitude mecanique et competences en resolution de problemes Capacite a travailler de facon autonome et en equipe Disponibilite pour des horaires flexibles, y compris les fins de semaine au besoin Connaissance de base en informatique et familiarite avec les outils de rapport

Silgan Plastics is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Process Technician to join our team in Lachine. The Process Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and optimization of plastic processing equipment to ensure efficient production and high product quality. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, performing minor maintenance, and collaborating with quality and production teams to meet production goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate plastic molding or extrusion machines according to specifications Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality checks Support changeovers and startup/shutdown procedures Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and scrap Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Qualifications:High school diploma Certificate or diploma in a mechanical field (an asset) 1-3 years of experience in plastics manufacturing (injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts, including weekends if needed Basic computer skills and familiarity with reporting tools
